This program runs for 17 weeks and teaches children how to make and keep friends, problem solve, how to identify and manage feelings, expand feeling words, why rules and how to maintain them, how to manage stress and how to manage anger.
The program is a preventative program so children can grow up learning about rules, how to keep rules and how to manage their own social and emotional selves in the future. It is also an intervention program for children who have trouble with problem solving, and how to manage their emotions, thoughts and social situations.
Sessions includes fun activities, story telling, reflection and role-plays. Sessions have up to 6 children.
Sessions will be run in Carlton at a cost of $50 per session and of a total of $850 for the program.
