Commitment
Josephine is passionate about helping others and helping clients of all ages thrive including organisational performance. We strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge and to create a therapeutic and nurturing experience with our clients to ensure the best outcome. We work collaboratively with our clients for best outcomes. Josephine is committed to help her clients improve their behaviour, mental health, and help others learn about their personhood that is behind the diagnosis. She is also committed to helping families thrive and for children and young people to have the best start in life.
An Integrative Approach
We consider theoretical perspectives in all our work, understand the science of psychology and counselling for competency and efficacy and the art of using it in a sensitive way to generate healing, change and growth. This ensures that we consider outcomes of well researched strategies to avoid the pitfalls that comes with assumptions and bias and use it creatively to consider individual and business needs and experiences. We consider systems theory when working with organisations and families.
Whole Person Approach
We consider personality, community, family, emotions, thoughts, somatic sensations including felt experience, soul, spirituality, friendships, past challenges, hopes, fears, attitude, age and everything else that encompasses a person.
Client Centred
Support clients in meeting their objectives to encourage growth. Create opportunities for full participation of client to enhance mental health. Provide a collaborative approach to increase empowerment and realise potential.
Flexible Services
Provide quality and quantifiable assessment through a series of questions to determine individual needs of client resulting in individually tailored care.
Outcomes
Enhanced business strategies, mental health, behaviour, learning, and improved family functioning through effective, high quality counselling skills, consulting, education and programs. Improved quality of care, productivity, and ability to understand diagnosis.
Accountability
Receive regular feedback from client and evaluate client’s progress. Ensure best practices and evidenced based procedure during sessions. Provide assessment tools such as the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS) when necessary, to measure outcomes and overcome bias.
Respect Cultural Diversity
Consider client’s cultural needs and situation to ensure learning and development does not undervalue cultural background but embrace it.
